The data
42,047 barangays, each carrying its Philippine Standard Geographic Code and its existing four digit zip code alongside the new one, so the three can be reconciled instead of requiring a cutover on a single day.
The code is derived from the PSGC, which the Philippine Statistics Authority is mandated to maintain, so the structure stays current at the source. This set is a snapshot, and barangays created, merged or renamed since are not in it.
